0% leasing explained transparently

0% in the contract – the same total cost as leasing

With 0% leasing, the contract states an interest rate of 0%. However, the total cost is the same as for a comparable standard lease with interest: the calculated financing cost is added to the vehicle price before the contract is signed.

Important: 0% does not mean you save money

The only difference lies in the contractual structure. The 0% lease is not cheaper than a comparable standard lease, and the adjusted vehicle price is not the cash price. It does not reduce your total cost.

How the 0% lease is structured

1. Standard lease as the baseline

First, we calculate the total cost that would arise for the same vehicle under a comparable standard lease including interest.

2. Include the cost in the vehicle price

The calculated financing cost is added to the vehicle price. This adjusted price becomes the basis of the 0% lease contract.

3. Lease contract at 0%

The contract states 0% interest. Because the calculated financing cost is already included in the vehicle price, the total cost remains the same as for the comparable standard lease.

The lease contract is processed through an established bank. MAS Auto explains the pricing structure and contract figures before you sign.

The key point

What 0% means here – and what it does not mean

The difference is in the contractual structure, not in the total cost. Before you sign, we show you the comparison and all contract figures transparently.

0% interest in the contract

The lease contract states an interest rate of 0%. No additional contractual interest is charged on the vehicle price stated in the contract.

Same total cost as leasing

The total cost is the same as for a comparable standard lease because the financing cost that would otherwise apply is already included in the vehicle price.

Not a saving and not the cash price

The 0% lease is not cheaper than a standard lease. The adjusted vehicle price must also not be confused with the cash purchase price.
